Who Are the Lessons For?
In a word, you! Students of any age or academic background can benefit from private tutoring to accelerate their learning. I've helped high school students learn math, college students learn chemistry, and mid-life career changers learn to analyze electrical circuits. A private tutor meets you where you are with the tools to help you succeed.
How Are Sessions Structured?
Sessions are designed to support your learning needs, whether it's clarifying a few difficult concepts, helping with a confusing homework assignment, guiding standardized test preparation, or even delivering a mini-course to augment or enhance your school's curriculum. Each session is followed by an emailed report to guide your self-study and show your progress.
Are Lessons Available Online?
Yes. I conduct almost all of my sessions online, via Zoom. When you schedule a tutoring session, I'll send you a meeting invite with a Zoom link and Zoom meeting information. If you wish, I can record the session and provide you with a link to the recording along with recommended study resources.
If you live or are visiting in the Birch Bay, Washington area, I can also arrange to meet you for face-to-face tutoring in a safe, learning-appropriate public place.
How Often Should We Meet?
Frequency depends on your goals. Weekly sessions are common, while exam preparation may require a more intensive schedule.
If you require and commit to multiple sessions, substantially discounted pricing may be available.
